The main goal of chiropractic is to treat and prevent problems by addressing the root cause of the problem.

  • Will the chiropractor crack my pet's back/neck?
The chiropractic adjustment does not always produce an audible sound, or “pop.” These sounds are caused by gas released by a reduction in pressure in the joint. The negative pressure creates gas bubbles in the synovial fluid and these give the cracking sound. You can compare it, for example, to a jar of jam that you open for the first time. An audible sound has nothing to do with the success of an adjustment. Sounds are heard much less frequently in animals than in humans.
